Blue Chip Athletic is located in North Kansas City, Missouri - just north of downtown Kansas City, Missouri.  Gonz Medina developed a business plan to starting a sporting goods company that serviced the school and athletic communities in 1993 at the University of of Pennsylvania.  Jason Heslop started working in a screen printing shop in 1990 with a similar dream to start his own company.  In April of 2000, they decided to bring their dreams together and begin the planning phase of Blue Chip Athletic.

In 2001, Blue Chip Athletic was born.  Jason Heslop and Gonz Medina started the company out of a small screen printing shop in August 2001.  The company started with 2 employees and has grown to 16 employees over the past 8 years.  We currenty reside in a 14,000 sq. ft. facility in North Kansas City, MO.  We have 2 automatic and 1 manual screen printing presses with the ability to print over 8,000 garments per day.  We also have in-house embroidery capabilities with a six head and single head embroidery machine.
